Eleven Active Dogs on a Warm December Morning - New York City Basenji Gathering - 13 December 2020

Eleven basenjis gathered for an unusual, coatless, warm December morning in Washington Square Park, New York City. Making a first visit was Flip [dog no. 1] (male, seven-months-old, honorary basenji.) Other attendees were veterans, including puppies Rhubarb [dog no. 2] (female, eleven-months-old,) Jeni [dog no. 3](female, eleven-months-old,) and new adults Nova [dog no. 4](male, yearling,) and Toews [dog no. 5] (male, yearling.) Adults included Dante [dog no. 6] (male, almost three-years-old,) Mia [dog no. 7] (female, almost four-years-old,) Tiva [dog no. 8] (female, almost-five-years-old,) Calla [dog no. 9] (female, almost six-years-old,) and hosts Kepler [dog no. 10] (male, six-years-old,) and Fuji [dog no. 11] (female, almost nine-years-old.) Six (Rhubarb, Toews, Tiva, Calla, Kepler, and Fuji) of the eleven were from Kokopelli Basenjis. Thank you Gretchen Van Alystyne. Starting temperature: 54°F | 12.2°C
