Littermates and Other Friends - New York City Basenji Meetup - 14 March 2021

Eight basenjis gathered for a surprisingly pleasant late winter morning in Washington Square Park, New York City. Yearling littermates Dante (male) and Rhubarb (female) met for the first time since their breeder in Connecticut. Littermate three-year-old females Mia and Scout, regular attendees, did their own special things. [Turn on volume] for Scout’s song. Bette (female, yearling) is working on her honorary basenji status and her comfort in the dog park. The youngest was puppy Oliver (male, almost seven-months-old.) Host Kepler, (male, six-years-old,) was the senior dog. He spent his time pursuing Damir (intact male, two-years-old.) Starting temperature: 48°F | 8.9°C
