Two Newbies, Nine Puppies, Sixteen in Total - New York City Basenji Meetup - 15 August 2021

Sixteen basenjis (and an increasing number of corgis) gathered on a beautiful, heatwave-breaking August morning in Washington Square Park in New York City. Notable appearances included first-time visitor Korra (female, two-years-old,) from Connecticut and first-timer Phoebe (female, nine-months-old) who joined her littermates Gizmo (male) and Tobey (male) for a meetup reunion. Littermates Ella (female, eight-months-old) and Kuma (male) also reunited. The other puppies today were Koso (male, eight-months-old,) Diego (male, eight-months-old,) G.G. (female, seven-months-old,) and Lucky (male, seven-months-old.) The adults were Dante [red/white] (male, yearling,) Dante [tri-] (male, three-years-old,) Scout (female, four-years-old,) Kepler (male, seven-years-old,) Laika (female, nine-years-old,) and Watson (male, fourteen-years-old.) Starting temperature: 74°F|23.3°C

As the basenji meetup went on, the corgi meetup started to form. By the end, the corgis took the park. Nice to see you Corgis of New York City.
