Gaia Hits Her Stride; Abbey & Rhubarb Run - New York City Basenji Meetup - 17 April 2022

Nine basenjis gathered on a morning that was windy and cold outside the dog park, but calm and sunny within, for a pleasant party in Washington Square Park in New York City.

Puppy Gaia (female, five months-old) returned for her second week and had a jolly time wrassling with other dogs. Yearling female Abbey also returned for her second visit and was captured running and tussling. These relative newbies were joined by veterans Pepper (female, yearling,) Rhubarb (female, two-years-old,) Zoomer (male, three-years-old,) Dante (male, four-years-old,) Mia (female, five-years-old,) Kepler (male, seven-years-old,) and Watson (male, fourteen-years-old.) Starting temperature: 44°F|7.2°C
