Ten basenjis gathered for the sunny, pleasant morning in Washington Square Park, New York City. The center of attention was first-timer puppy Benji (female, five-months-old.) She was joined by a quartet of returning puppies: Astor (male, nine-months-old,) Dante (male, nine-months-old,) Jeni (female, nine-months-old,) and Mika (female, nine-months-old.) The adults included littermate three-year-old sisters Mia and Scout, Dante (male, two-years-old,) and hosts Kepler (male, six-years-old,) and Fuji (female, eight-years-old.)
