Six red/white basenjis on a hot summer day in Washington Square Park. Three basenji females of a certain age were the highlight: Zuma, eleven-years-old, made her first visit from Connecticut; Sasha, also eleven, came back from home in the Bronx; and Fuji, the seven-and-a-half-year-old host. The youngest today was yearling female Riley; who was joined by two-year-old male Archer; and almost five-year-old male Kepler. A young corgi makes a special appearance.
