Six basenjis gathered for a cold, sunny January morning in Washington Square Park, New York City. We had two first-timers: Sonny (male, yearling,) and puppy Oliver (male, five-months-old.) Oliver had lots of tussles with puppy Maui (male, six-months-old.) The other adults were Jasper (male, three-years-old,) and hosts Kepler (male, six-years-old,) and Fuji (the only female, nine-years-old.) Starting temperature: 25°F | -3.9°C
