An early start to avoid the record heat saw Kepler (male, eight-years-old) celebrate his birthday among four youngsters ready to run. The young ones were Pippi (female, six-months-old,) Kobe (male, seven-months-old,) Ella (female, yearling,) and Uni (female, yearling.) Starting temperature: 83°F|28.3°C
