Kepler, Three Niblings, and Ten Other Basenjis - New York City Basenji Meetup - 3 July 2022
Fourteen basenjis gathered for an Independence Day weekend run in Washington Square Park in New York City.
Kepler (male, seven-years-old,) was visited by two relatives sharing their third birthdays: Xena (female,) and Zion (male.) He also met his young nephew Lupin (male, seven-months-old,) who was making his first formal visit. The other two premiere visitors were males Apollo (seven-years-old,) and Diffa (four-years-old.) Returning today were Zuri (female, yearling, lives with Zion,) Diego (male, yearling,) Dante (male, two-years-old,) Astor (male, two-years-old,) housemates Dexter & Lulu (male & female, two-years-old,) Dante (tri- male, four-years-old,) and Mia (female, five-years-old.) Six of today’s dogs are from the same breeder: Kokopelli Basenjis. They are: Kepler, Xena, Zion, Dante, Zuri, and Lupin. Thank you Gretchen Van Alstyne. Starting temperature: 77°F|25°C
