Three Female Basenjis Rumble and Two Males Abide - New York City Basenji Meetup - 17 March 2024
Five basenjis gathered on an improving late-winter morning in Washington Square Park in New York City. The cast today were all veterans. The three females (the youngest) seemed to set the pace in action. The males maintained a slower pace. Starting the action was Gaia (female, two-years-old,) who tussled with a pomsky. Following her was today’s senior dog, C.Y. (male, fourteen-years-old.) Then came Mia (female, seven-years-old,) and Kepler (male, nine-years-old.) The final dog in action was the youngest, Bronte (female, sheltie/basenji mix, six-months-old.) She showed her facility running with a ball in her mouth. Starting temperature: 52°F|11.1°C
