Basenji Puppies Tussle and Basenji Lulu Barks

New York City Basenji Meetup - 11 June 2023

Eight basenjis gathered on a humid preview of summer in New York City’s Washington Square Park. Puppies today were Anubis (male, five-months-old,) and Arnold (male, six-months-old.) They resumed their battle first started a few meetups ago. Arnold also tried Dante (male, five-years-old,) and faced off with Mia (female, six-years-old.) Anubis had a tussle with a non-basenji, Zola. Then Arnold staged a meeting of the youngest today (himself) and the oldest Kepler (male, eight-years-old.) Kepler showed he’s still spry enough to tackle Arnold. Lulu (female, three-years-old,) demonstrated her ability to bark, repeating it while trying to engage with Zola. Her housemate Dexter (male, three-years-old,) showed his brindle. Malcolm (male, eight-years-old,) a handsome tri-color, rounded out the entourage today. Starting temperature: 72°F|22.2°C
